Scope and Topic Categories

The meeting will cover research topics relevant to optimizing imaging biomarker performance including medical imaging algorithms, such as segmentation and registration algorithms, and medical imaging physics, such as image reconstruction, quality assurance phantoms, image quality metrics, and image correction methods.

The meeting program will mainly consist of scientific paper presentations with sufficient time allotted for Q&A and comments. Research on quantitative metrics for all imaging methods involved in patient care is sought, including but not limited to diffusion tensor imaging, CT perfusion, cardiac calcification, and the analysis of histology and pathology images. The meeting will emphasize demonstrating scientific reproducibility, thus algorithm performance challenges and open science practices will be encouraged.
