Registration Types

Full Registration (Technical Registrants): The registration fee includes admission to the Technical Sessions, Exhibit, Coffee Breaks, Banquet and one copy of the Program and online access to the Technical Digests through OSAP.

Student Registration: Full-time students (graduate and undergraduate) are entitled to the same privileges as a Full Technical Registrant. Students are required to present valid student identification when they pick up their registration materials. Post-docs are not considered students.

Emeritus Registration: Emeritus members may also register at the discounted rate. To qualify for emeritus status, members must be fully retired and must have been an OSA member for at least 10 years. The member's age plus the number of years of membership in OSA must equal 75 years or more.

Extra Products for Purchase

Guest Conference Reception Ticket This is an additional ticket for conference attendee's guest. Conference attendees do not need to purchase a ticket for themselves, as one (1) is included in your conference registration.

Wine Tour Ticket This is a separate charge to participate in a tour of local wineries on the evening of Monday, 20 May. 

Payment and Refund Information

Checks and Money Orders All checks must be in US dollars and made payable to the Optical Society. Please indicate the check number on the registration form.

Bank Drafts and Wire Transfers Please indicate on your registration form which bank was used and when the deposit was made. Also, please notify OSA of the transfer to avoid any lost or unidentified payments.

Refund Policy for Registration A US $75 service charge will be assessed for processing refunds. A letter requesting the refund should state the registrant's name and the amount of payment and should be faxed to +1 202.416.6140 or submitted through http://www.osa.org/help. Requests for refunds that are received by Monday, 25 March 2019 will be honored. All refund requests must be made in writing.

Note that the Post-deadline Papers notifications typically occur after the refund cut-off date. Keep this in mind when registering.
Refunds based on the inability to get a visa will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please begin the visa application process early. The visa process can take as long as 3 months in some cases.

NO REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER 29 April 2019.
