First held in 1995, the purpose of the Pacific Rim Conference on Lasers and Electro‐Optics (CLEO/Pacific Rim) is to provide an international forum for an update and review of a wide range of lasers and electro-optics disciplines from device development to systems engineering and applications. The meeting also serves to stimulate the use of more mature optical technologies in other fields.
