The health and safety of OSA Meetings attendees is always of primary importance, and especially so in our current environment. Due to travel restrictions resulting from COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the OSA Biophotonics Congress: Biomedical Optics will not be held as originally scheduled.

OSA is currently working with volunteer organizers for this meeting on a solution that benefits speakers, attendees and exhibitors while ensuring the well-being of all participants. This approach does require time, and we appreciate your patience in waiting for an announcement on future plans.

Program

The OSA Biophotonics Congress is an annual meeting. In alternating years, the congress scope focuses on biomedical optics (even years) or optics in life sciences (odd years).

Biomedical Optics focuses on technological solutions to medical challenges and medical applications, complementing the OSA Biophotonics Congress: Optics in Life Sciences. It covers a diversity of cutting-edge research and innovative new tools and techniques, and will bring together an international group of leading engineers, optical and medical scientists, and physicians, as well as junior researchers and graduate students, who are engaged in optical methods to advance discovery and application of medical science to clinical practice.
