Application of Open-path Fourier Transform Infrared (OP-FTIR) Spectroscopy to Air-sea Greenhouse Gas Exchange (JW4D.1)

An OP-FTIR system was deployed over the ocean surface to collect absorption spectra at two heights, alternating quickly in time. Gas concentrations were derived and used to calculate air-sea gas fluxes by the flux-gradient method. © 2021 The Authors

Spatial Heterodyne Observations of Water (JW4D.2)

SHOW is a limb imaging instrument that is being developed to provide accurate, dense, high vertical resolution measurements of water vapour in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere. In this paper, we present the SHOW measurement concept and examine the practical considerations that influence design tradeoffs.

The Imaging FTS Concept for the Arctic Observing Mission (JW4D.3)

Retrieval of greenhouse gas concentrations using ground-based FTS spectra at Wuhan, China (JW4D.4)

We present the observations of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) in Wuhan using the HELIOS-100, a new portable Fourier Transform Spectrometry (FTS) maded by ABB Inc. The retrieval method and observation results will be introduced.
