Monolithically Integrated Widely Tunable Single-Frequency Diamond Raman Lasers (AW3A.1)

We report on the operation of a monolithically integrated tunable single-frequency diamond converter capable of efficiently squeezing by two orders of magnitude the linewidth of high-power multi-mode nanosecond lasers down to the Fourier limit.

20.3 W Brillouin Lasing in Diamond (AW3A.2)

We report a Brillouin laser in diamond based on a free-space doubly resonant enhancement cavity. The resonator is pumped with 1064 nm light, generating a pump-limited output power of 20.3 W with 33% conversion efficiency.

Robust Self-Referenced Generator of Programmable Multi-Millijoule THz-Rate Bursts (AW3A.3)

We demonstrate a technique for the programmable generation and multi-millijoule amplification of ultrashort pulse bursts, which can be applied to any master-oscillator regenerative-amplifier system with very low implementation complexity and high stability in burst performance.

Intra-Cavity Spin-Orbit Angular Momentum Conversion With a Sagnac Interferometer Laser (AW3A.4)

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a new method for laser intra-cavity spin-orbit conversion with a q-plate. The Nd:YVO4 laser yielded a high quality LG01 output. We observed a self-adapting resonator that minimized high-order radial modes.

743 nm Source by SHG of a Cascaded Phosphosilicate Raman Fiber Amplifier (AW3A.5)

We demonstrate a nanosecond-pulsed 743 nm source by second harmonic generation of a cascaded phosphosilicate Raman fiber amplifier operating at 1485 nm. The source emits >1 W of 743 nm average power at a 5 MHz repetition rate.

Near Quantum Limited Slope Efficiency Nd:YLF4 Laser (AW3A.6)

We report on a Nd:YLF4 laser diode-side-pumped at 863 nm, resulting in 75% slope efficiency and 13.8 W of CW output power.
