About the Speaker
Dr. Sun Min was majored in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics in Nanjing University. After receiving his Ph. D, in 2012 he joined Lab of Huawei, where he focused on the next generation photoelectricity component and awarded several related patents since 2013. He has been engaged as an Optical Architect at Tencent, in charge of the data center optical interconnection from 2018 till now. His expertise involves chip-level technology (quantum-dot laser, new VCSEL and hybrid integrated silicon photonics and so on), packaging technique (non-hermetic package), module level application and data center system architecture, etc. He also has some researches in photoelectricity integration in consumer production.
