About the Speaker
Sandeep Razdan is a Senior Principal Engineer in the Optical Systems Division (OSD) at Broadcom, leading Integration Technology Development for next generation optical communication devices and systems. His focus is on developing end-to-end process & test technologies, opto-electronic integration architectures & scalable supply chain solutions for Broadcom’s next generation optical products portfolio. Prior to Broadcom, Sandeep was Senior Manager in the Component Quality & Technology group at Cisco, leading a team of process & reliability engineers focused on developing Silicon photonics based 100G+ optical products for Data Center applications. Before Cisco, Sandeep was a Senior Staff Engineer at Intel’s Silicon Photonics Products Division managing integration design & technology development for 100G PSM4 & CWDM4 products. Sandeep holds a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and has 20+ patents in the fields of Silicon Photonics and Semiconductor processing.
