Ken Giewont

Fellow - Technology Development, GLOBALFOUNDRIES

About the Speaker
Ken Giewont is a Fellow at GLOBALFOUNDRIES within the Technology Solutions organization as the technical lead of Silicon Photonics Technology Development located at the Fishkill, NY fab10 facility. His focus has been to establish a manufacturable 300mm Silicon Photonics Foundry platform with a continued focus on definition and execution of a development roadmap. Previously, he worked at IBM Microelectronics as a process integration engineer developing and manufacturing leading edge CMOS technologies. Collectively, he has >25 years of experience in area of semiconductor development and manufacturing, process integration, characterization, failure analysis and project management. He earned an Engineering Science BS from Penn State University 1n 1984 and an Electrical Engineering MS from Syracuse University 1n 1990.
