Last month, SCHOTT debuted their newest materials to hit the market. Join Optical Glass Product Manager, Dr. Uwe Petzold, for an overview on these newly launched glasses. Topics include:

Dr. Petzold will also explain how SCHOTT plans to expand the application of optical glasses into the short wave infrared regime and our new measurement devices to improve data accuracy.

Dr. Uwe Petzold received a Master of Science Degree in Physics with a focus in diffractive optical elements from Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany. He then received his PhD in Laser Physics and Nonlinear Microscopy from Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany.
Dr. Petzold joined SCHOTT in 2014 as an Application Engineer for Optical Metrology. The following year, he took on a new role as Product Manager for Optical Glass.
