Fast, Simple, Expandable – The Technology Behind OptoTest’s New Software Application, OPL-CLX

Agile manufacturing and laboratory testing of optical components requires agile test software. Fiber optic components have many different test requirements and to satisfy these requirements, test equipment from various manufacturers is typically required. OPL-CLX was designed to drive the OptoTest instruments, but also designed to be expandable for future test requirements as well as to easily integrate 3rd party instruments that a user may already have. In this presentation we will discuss the concepts and technology behind the OPL-CLX software.

Thomas is our lead Applications Engineer who works closely with OptoTest’s sales and engineering teams. Thomas excels at customer support, technical trainings, on-site calibrations, remote demonstrations, and answering general fiber optic questions. Thomas graduated from California State University Channel Islands, a few miles from OptoTest’s headquarters with a bachelor’s degree in Physics.
