Automation and Positioning for Optical Device Manufacturing

As the global appetite for data on demand grows and remote work becomes the norm, the demand for higher bandwidth optoelectronic components in data centers and increased featuresets in personal computing devices requires increased quality and throughput from device manufacturers. In this session we will discuss applications of precision automation equipment to device manufacturing including

  • Lens alignments for cell phone cameras
  • Lens placement in transceivers
  • Alignment of optical and electrical probes for SiP device characterization
  • Mass transfer of micro LED onto displays
