The Thirteenth IAPR International Conference on Machine Vision Applications will be held from May 21 through 23, 2013 at the Suzaku Campus, Ritsumeikan University, in Kyoto, Japan. The conference is co-sponsored by the MVA Organization, IAPR TC-8, and Ritsumeikan University. The conference is aimed for bringing together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry for stimulating exchange of knowledge through intensive discussions mainly on (but not limited to) the following research topics: Algorithms, Architectures, Human Computer Interaction, Applications, Factory Automation and Robotics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Security Systems, Medical Systems, Multimedia, Remote Sensing and Industrial Applications.
