Terence Patrick Rooney earned his BA in Sociology from the University of South Florida in 2008. He worked as a program manager at Cooperative Development Foundation before joining The Optical Society. Today, he is Senior Program Manager, Students and Early Career Professionals, at Optica. He received the 2021 Treasurer’s Award “For providing a world-class experience to Student Chapters through his genuine energy and thoughtful innovation.”
