Isaak Ya. Barsky was the recipient of the 1994 Joseph Fraunhofer Award/Robert M. Burley Prize “for outstanding work in the field of quantitative microscopy. Specifically, for the creation of new optical instruments for medicine and biology, thereby advancing the field of optical engineering.”
