Frequently asked questions and answers about accessing OSA's online services and features.

Visit the Login page ("Login" access is located at the top blue bar of every page). Enter your email address and click on “Forgot your password?” Alternatively, you may submit a Help Ticket or call OSA at: +1 202.416.1907. Our staff replies to messages within one business day.

Single copies of articles from OSA journals may be ordered through the pay-per-view options through OSA Publishing's Digital Library (formerly Optics InfoBase) or by submitting a Help Ticket to Customer Service. OSA single issues are also available.

OSA offers a limited time trial of online access to OSA Publishing’s Digital Library (formerly Optics InfoBase). This allows potential subscribers to sample the full range of OSA content, including current issues of periodicals, meeting content and archival journals. For additional information please submit a Help Ticket.

To access your OSA online subscriptions, visit OSA Publishing's Digital Library (formerly Optics InfoBase), click “My Account”. You will be prompted to login using your email address and your OSA password. (Note: Your OSA password will be your member number unless you requested it to be changed.) New users will be asked to agree to the terms of the “OSA User Agreement”. If you are a returning subscriber, once you login you will have access to your online journal subscriptions, and OPN Online. The login process also provides you with access to the members-only section of OSA.org.

To edit your information, visit the Login page ("Login" access is located at the top blue bar of every page). Once logged in, click on the “My Address” tab followed by the “Edit” button in the name and address information box to edit your contact information. Alternatively, you may submit a Help Ticket or call OSA at: +1 202.416.1907. Our staff replies to messages within one business day.

Visit OSA Publishing's Digital Library (formerly Optics InfoBase) and click on “Log In.” You will be prompted to login using your email address and your OSA password. (Note: If you do not know your password, you can reset it online.) Under the “Manage My Profile” heading, select “Activity Report” to view your downloads to-date.

In most cases, it's likely you have not returned a signed user agreement to OSA. Once signed, you can email it to: elec@osa.org or fax it to: (202) 416-1408.

Institutional User Agreement

Another reason could be you are attempting to access OSA content from an Internet Protocol (IP) address that OSA does not have in your record. Please send your current IP address to: elec@osa.org or update your IP address online via OSA’s Library Resource Center.
