FY2020 Funding - Funding Levels

National Science Foundation (NSF)

  • FY19 Enacted Bill funded NSF at $8.075 billion for FY19.
  • President's FY20 Budget Request proposes funding NSF at $7.066 billion for FY20.
  • The House Appropriations Committee bill proposes funding NSF at $8.64 billion for FY20.
  • The Senate Appropriations Committee bill proposes funding NSF at $8.317 billion for FY20.

National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)

  • FY19 Enacted Bill funded NIST at $986 million for FY19.
