March for Science

Join OSA in the second annual March for Science on 14 April 2018, a celebration of diversity and inclusion in science, evidence-based policies, global scientific collaborations and sustained R&D funding of science. OSA is a sponsor and partner of the 175 global satellite marches. The following are ways that you can participate with OSA.

March with OSA in the flagship Washington, DC, USA March for Science on 14 April. The tentative schedule is as follows:

0800-1700 OSA/APS member open house at the Jarus Quinn Building: 2010 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036, USA
0900-1200 March for Science teach-in program on the National Mall.
1100-1200 OSA/APS co-sponsored teach-in on the Washington DC National Mall. Speaker/content is TBD.
0900-1430 March for Science sponsor/partner demonstration tables on display on the National Mall.
1200-1430 OSA/APS co-sponsored demonstration table on the National Mall.
1430 The Official March for Science on the Washington DC National Mall.

US Citizens: Write to your members of the U.S. Congress online or in person at the open house on 14 April to encourage them to support strong investments in R&D funding.
