Elevator Pitch

Communication skills are pandemic-proof! Being able to communicate the understanding, relevance and impact of a scientific concept in a couple of minutes can enhance your ability to make new connections, secure funding or even get a job. When scientists can communicate effectively, science thrives. More effective communicators can build support for science, promote understanding of its wider relevance to society, and encourage more informed decision-making at all levels.

Come improve your skills, grow your confidence communicating science, and join the inaugural OSA Virtual Elevator Pitch Competition (VEPC)!

Top participants will receive 1-year OSA membership and cash prizes!

**** Bonus points for anyone who presents in English when it is not their first language. ****

Register & submit your 3-minute pitch video + 1 pdf slide by Wednesday the 30th of September 2020 here.
