I know Prof. Yzuel for more than 40 years. I was very lucky of having the opportunity to work with her in several coordinate projects, under her supervision. She is a brilliant researcher, full of new ideas, very good colleague and an excellent person, always close to help her collaborators. Moreover, the advance of Optics in Spain cannot be understood without her activity defending the establishment of new groups of Optics in Spanish Universities. She deserves all my gratitude.
