I am privileged to know Lakshmi as a labmate and a friend. Her work ethic is something to look up to as she tries to go deep in any problem that she is solving. Her enthusiasm in tying up the arcane mysteries of spectral shaping, mode locking and SHG through her great expertise in free space optics is something that has to be seen to be believed! Her passion in learning new optics concepts on a daily basis shows her hunger for optics and is something that is becoming of an ideal PhD student.
