Honoring Dr. Rema Nandakumar

Dr. Rema Nandakumar was my first teacher. She was also my Mother and an Ophthalmologist. She used to sit with me fo my studies in high school. She was one of the reasons I had an excellent rank in the school leaving exams. Several Gold medals in my later career probably had one reason being the good work ethic learnt at home. Mother also used to talk to and help lots of young people including her patients, friends and relatives, always encouraging them to study well.
