Honoring Laura Waller

I was lucky to have Prof. Waller guide me in the field of computational imaging. Laura advocates to consider both hardware and software when building imaging systems, which enables many applications that weren’t possible by optimizing hardware/software alone. She has been leading her group to design cost effective yet powerful optics so more scientists can contribute to life science research. I’m honored to have Laura as my mentor. Her mindset of research has great impact on my career.
