Professor Campbell was my post-doctoral supervisor, and I learned many lessons that have served me well in my career. Among those: + the importance and ability to work across disciplines + that scientific rigor, with documentation, will win the day + that science cannot advance at the expense of people + to enjoy what your doing, perhaps not every day, but in the long run I heartily thank Melanie for supporting me in my early career, and I remember those years fondly.
