Honoring Donna Strickland

In 1987 Henri Pepin and myself were trying to do plasma physics differently, and we discovered Donna Strickland and Gerard Mourou moving Optics in a completely new direction. Over the past 20 years, Donna Strickland has been a key pillar on which we collectively build femtosecond science in Canada. Prof Strickland has always be deeply present advising the Advanced Laser Light Source to maintain Canada in the leading countries. Thanks Donna.
