I was touched by Prof. Yi Hsin Lin's enthusiasm for optics and the service of the optics community. In recent years, she has actively promoted women in optics in Taiwan, wish to help more female researchers in optics. In addition, her research on liquid crystal lens also helped the development of VR/AR field. I’m honored to have Prof. Lin as my mentor. Her passion to the optics has great impact to me.
