Honoring Tracy Clement

Submitted by Dr. Scott A. Diddams NIST & Univ. of Colorado

Tracy Clement was my postdoc advisor when I started at JILA in 1996. She helped spark my interest in ultrafast nonlinear optics and always provided great energy, ideas, and positive guidance. After many years as a research scientist, Tracy decided to become a high-school teacher. Now my son is learning Physics in her classroom at Fairview High School in Boulder, CO. Thank you Tracy for the time and energy you have invested in educating and training multiple generations of scientists!
