Jayathi and I both started our careers at a small firm in New Hampshire developing fluid dynamics simulation software: Fluent. Filled with smart, young PhDs bristling with ideas and working long hours, Jayathi stood out with her razor-sharp intelligence, incisive insights and dry wit. In the early 90s, Jayathi developed key breakthrough technology to establish unstructured CFD as the industrial workhorse for decades to come. An amazing achievement, and I feel privileged to have worked with her!
