Suzanne has been able to combine a rich family life, mother of three and now doting grandmother, with an acclaimed career as a vision scientist, highly productive over a period of five decades, recognized by the Optical Society's Tillyer Medal and the Vision Sciences Society's Davida Teller Award, author of landmark papers in stereoscopic vision and movement perception, and service to the profession as editor and as mentor to the next generation.
