Dr. Imran Ashraf, the first women in Pakistan to receive a PhD in the field of quantum optics, is best known for her achievements and accomplishments. As a teacher and adviser during my M Phil studies she helped me and guided me to achieve my goals. As a teacher, scientist and active member of various national and international scientific organizations, she deserves a huge appreciation for her efforts.
