Honoring Paul R. Berman

I want to honor Prof. Paul R. Berman for being an outstanding scientist, an inspirational physicist, and an intellectual educator. I was delighted to see his rigorous, detailed treatments of many challenging problems in quantum optics and laser spectroscopy. It was a privilege and a great pleasure working with Paul at the University of Michigan. Paul, I am very grateful for sharing your experiences with me.
