Bart Patel was my first manager at my first job out of College. A few months after I joined, I left with him to set up a spin-off company (Fluent Inc.) that, over the next 17 years, became the world leader in computational fluid dynamics modeling. Bart had the remarkable talent of inspiring you to do the very best. One on one meetings with him usually ended with we leaving feeling confident, inspired and motivated to take on challenges that I would have normally hesitated taking on.
