Honoring Dr. Perry P. Yaney

I want to honor Dr. Yaney for his big contribution to start my career. From our first meeting, late one night in 1976 in his lab in the basement of Sherman Hall, I was very impressed with what he was doing. I went on to work with him for 6 years, as a student, then assistant, to colleague (at the University of Dayton Research Institute). My work with him and others at UDRI were a major factor in my acceptance to MIT. And that PhD helped me get a Research position at Bell Labs. Thanks, Perry!
