I would like to honor Prof. Susana Marcos for the excellent training and advice that I have received from her over the years. Her passion for eye research and optics is contagious, and the way she makes science interesting and relatable for everybody is inspiring. I am lucky that I have met such an innovative thinker and brilliant scientific mind, who never loses patience even when asked the obvious. Muchas gracias, Susana!
