Honoring Kristina M. Johnson

I would like to honor Dr. Kristina Johnson who mentored me when I came as a postdoc to the University of Colorado in the early 1990s. Kris gave me the opportunity to work at my own pace, mentored me on technical matters, and taught me how to work with a diverse and multidisciplinary group of scientists. I did not realize at the time how lucky I was to have come to her group – but I do now.
