I first met Professor Gbur when I took his graduate course in Electromagnetics at UNC Charlotte, NC. I was so impressed by his ability to teach and organization of his lectures that I decided to pursue a PhD under his supervision. Although previously I had mostly done experimental research, he still took me as a student. I learned to tackle problems from a theoretical perspective. His ability to teach and to conduct brilliant research are impressive! I also appreciate his friendship.
