Prof David Burton was an amazing mentor, boss, leader, and friend. He is very kind and an inspirational person. Working with him is a lifetime experience: I learned from him to be devoted and creative in delivering research. During my PhD studies at LJMU, he was very generous in providing me enough freedom to work independently and helped me realise my true potential and placed me on a career path that I love. Your vision, passion, and great talks inspired us all in so many ways! Thank you Dave!
