GS Plastic Optics Reduces Diamond Turning Lead Time
Rochester, NY – GS Plastic Optics (GSPO) works with program leaders on complex optical challenges by providing polymer optics designed specifically for improving the customers’ market share and competitiveness. The company is proud to announce reduced lead times for the single point diamond turning operations.
GSPO is now capable of turn-around times of as little as 4-6 weeks depending upon material availability and complexity of the design. The accelerated program will result in faster turn-around for prototypes, ultimately leading to faster time to market for production. This reduction in diamond turning lead time is a direct result of adding highly skilled staff to the GSPO diamond turning team, as well as investments in production and metrology equipment.
