Newport Introduces Integrity 4 VCS Series
Irvine, CA – May 21, 2015 – Newport Corporation, a worldwide leader in photonic solutions, expands its broad range of Integrity VCS vibration control systems with a new performance level – Integrity 4 VCS. The new performance series features Newport’s patented precision tunable dampers used in RS2000 Research Series tables and an improved frame support system. Integrity 4 VCS is the best value solution for demanding applications such as spectroscopy, microscopy and high resolution optical characterization.
Like the entire Integrity VCS family, the compact and affordable Integrity 4 VCS series was designed to meet the requirements of users with limited space or budget. With the introduction of the new Integrity 4 VCS models, the series now embraces applications all the way from very basic optical experiments like a teaching lab to demanding two photon microscopy and high resolution imaging systems.
All Integrity VCS systems are available with 6-in. (Integrity 1 and 2 only), 8-in. or 12-in. thick optical platforms and provide a full array of tapped holes, either ¼-20 or M6, that extend to ½ in. from the edges. Newport’s patented sealed-hole design prevents core contamination and makes clean-up and small parts retrieval easy. The Integrity VCS platform incorporates the same reinforced truss, vertically-bonded core design as Newport’s higher performance optical platforms such as the SmartTable® and RS Series, and features field upgradeable options for users to upgrade their rigid frame into isolated frame support. Newport has also expanded the accessory options of Integrity VCS to be fully compatible with SmartTable OTS accessories, providing alternative accessory mounting solutions to the existing offering of casters and overhead shelves.
