Fiber Mountain and Optimum Path Announce Strategic Alliance at Data Center World Global Conference
Optimum Path DCIM to integrate with Fiber Mountain’s Alpine Orchestration System (AOS) and Glass Core to provide dynamic data center discovery and 3D rendering
Las Vegas, Booth #931 – April 14, 2015 – Fiber Mountain, Inc., a provider of transformative, software-defined networking solutions for enterprise and hyperscale data centers, and Optimum Path, Inc., a provider of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), announced a strategic partnership at the Data Center World 2015 Global Conference.
Under the partnership, the companies will jointly bring dynamic discovery and updating of DCIM tools to the data center. Optimum Path’s Visual Data Center product is an industry leader in DCIM space, and Fiber Mountain’s Alpine Orchestration System™ and Glass Core™ are able to discover all racks, switches, physical cables and servers in the data center. This discovery also associates each network element, including cabling, with its physical location, providing an automatic method to update DCIM solutions.
This will produce the first DCIM application able to display 3D graphical renderings of data center elements and status updated in real time. “This partnership will enable customers to benefit from an always accurate view of their data center assets,” said Fiber Mountain CEO, M.H.
