Virtual engagement has become our new normal as the world adjusts to the impact of the covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, OSA pivoted to deliver critical conferences and events in real-time remote formats to meet the needs of our members and customers across the globe. Presented at no cost to attendees, our virtual events attracted over 85,000 registrants from 115+ countries. And we are just beginning.
In 2021, OSA will continue to offer the high-quality technical content our community has come to expect in hybrid formats with virtual and onsite presentations and exhibitions. Our webinar initiative “We Are On” will promote new content on a broad range of topics. We encourage you to take advantage of these exciting programs. The pandemic has changed the ways in which we connect and technologies, powered by optics, have allowed us to remain engaged and informed, both near and far.
