The IONS® is a conference organized by students, for students. Expect a great environment to exchange knowledge and experiences on science, technology and chapter activities. You will be in contact with great students from different parts of the world, listen to talks given by great local and international researchers and have a great time in social and cultural events. The OSA Student Chapter at UNICAMP is now organizing its second IONS®, the third in South America. We scheduled four days of great professional development, network building and fun. The program we organized have students’s technical talks, chapter activities discussions, outreach activity, plenaries, a Physics in industry pannel, tourism both in Sao Paulo and Campinas and social events every night. You can check the detailed schedule on the Program page. The IONS® Campinas 2016 will be held just before the Sao Paulo School of Advanced Science on Nanophotonics (SPSAS Nanophotonics – July 17th to 29th), which will take place right here at UNICAMP in Campinas. This is going to be a two week school to which you are invited to participate (check their website for more details). Registration to the IONS® Campinas will be open from April 1st to June 1st. Traveling grants will be given, but only for those who register until May 1st. We hope that all the information needed is available in this website.
