11th International Symposium on Modern Optics and Its Applications

This meeting as all its previous meetings with the same theme, is aimed, at providing the much needed forum of scientific communication and interactions among regional scientists and distinguished scientists working in the rapidly growing field of modern optics and novel functional optical materials as well as the associated applications to information and communication technology (ICT), bio-medical sensing, imaging and biophotonics as well as applications to the development of sustainable green energy generation. This event is also designed to offer the opportunity of making direct contacts for the young Indonesian and ASEAN scientists and students with leading researchers abroad, thereby inspiring their research interest and fostering the existing research collaborations as well as extending international research networking for the future. The 11th International Symposium on Modern Optics and its Applications (ISMOA) to be held between 7 – 10 August 2017 in Bogor, Indonesia will cover mainly (but not restricted to) the following topics: • Micro and nano photonics • Photonic crystals and photonic crystal fiber • Plasmonics • Metamaterials • Photovoltaics • Nonlinear optics • Optical spectroscopy • Bio-photonics • Optical sensing, imaging and recording • Functional optical materials • Quantum optics
