Imaging Optical Design (FD)

Poster sessionThis group encompasses the design and characterization of traditional optical systems utilizing lens design, geometric ray-tracing, and physical optics modeling. The evolution and development of design codes and software to assist in designing components and systems are included here. Typical applications include astronomical telescopes, microscopes, cameras, stray light, and adaptive optics.

Join us in San Jose, California, from 18 – 22 October for our annual meeting, Frontiers in Optics. Several OSA Technical Groups will be hosting special events at this year's meeting, providing you with a great opportunity to connect with colleagues in your field.

Check out the blog from the Applied Industrial Optics Topical Meeting! The posts from June's meeting were written by Arlene Smith, an executive committee member of the Imaging Optical Design Technical Group.

As a niche online job board, more efficiently connects employers, job seekers and consultants within the optics and photonics community compared to broader job boards.
