In honor of the 50th anniversary of the invention of the laser in 1960, “LaserFest” was a yearlong, global celebration that included special events and exhibits featuring the people and innovations that made this technology a vital part of everyday life. The LaserFest Exhibit includes documents, photos and videos that showcase the history of the laser, its impact on society and exciting new applications.
