Advances in Light Matter Interaction – From Ultra-high Power to Ultrafast to Ultrasmall

Lasers have become standard tools in both industry and advanced technology for various tasks of material processing. The scope of applications is very broad, ranging from large scale metal cutting, to nanomaterial processing and other fine surface modifications.  In this seminar review talks on various aspects of light matter interaction, ranging from the basics to advanced implementation of novel laser concepts and systems would be presented. Leaders in the field will present contemporary scientific research and state-of-the-art technologies, and discuss trends and developments for emerging applications.
 
A limited number of submissions will be selected for oral presentation. The majority of accepted submissions will be presented as posters.
