Meeting and Paper Management Services
The goal of The Optical Society’s (OSA) meetings program is to support our mission to promote the generation and dissemination of knowledge in optics and photonics worldwide.
OSA’s meetings attract tens of thousands of people every year. These meetings range in size and scope, ranging from large conventions open to all registrants to smaller, invite only events. Meetings types include conventions, congresses, topical meetings, short courses, executive forums, workshops and incubator meetings. OSA also has a long history of endorsing meetings and partnering with other institutions, companies, and government agencies to promote education and open dialog across disciplines and around the world.
OSA’s team of meeting professionals can help expand the scope and reach of your meeting, provide short courses, workshops and symposia and provide management assistance for your meeting. Both services and costs are flexible based on your needs and the size and location of your meeting. Services include:
OSA currently has more than 16,000 members from 100 countries, nearly 200 student chapters in nearly 50 countries, and more than 200 corporate members from around the world. OSA’s can work with you to connect with these scientists, engineers and business leaders and to identify possible speakers and develop expert content for your meeting. In addition to program development, OSA can manage the meetings papers from submission through archival in the Optics InfoBase.
OSA's Optics InfoBase is a repository that contains OSA Publishing's content, including 15 flagship, partnered and co-published peer-reviewed journals. With more than 200,000 articles including papers from over 360 conferences, Optics InfoBase is the largest peer-reviewed collection of optics and photonics.
