The purpose of this conference is to explore and to promote the multidisciplinary interactions between the fields of optics and materials. This conference will gather together scientists, engineers and managers from different backgrounds in order to promote new ideas, share innovation and research in the emerging fields of Optics, Photonics & Materials. The conference will cover emerging fields in optics, materials sciences, physics and biology. It arises from the knowledge of optical sciences, organic and soft matters, signal and image processing, remote sensing or directed from bio-inspired materials or self-assembly and hierarchical organization of natural materials, and takes advantage of this understanding to engineer new artificial materials, systems and devices for many applications ranging from medical, industrial, military to energy sectors.
