The OSA Foundation impacted more than 9,400 students and young professionals in 2015. 

Here are a few highlights from our various programs:
  • 2,500 Light BLOX kits distributed to more than 40 countries: impacting up to 75,000 students and teachers
  • More than 90 OSA Student Chapters received grants for community outreach and professional development
  • More than 80 young leaders in optics and photonics from 31 countries attended the Siegman International School on Lasers
  • Nearly 50 young professionals were awarded conference and meeting travel support
