What: OFC/NFOEC 2007 - www.ofcnfoec.org
When/Where: March 25-29 (Exhibits March 27-29) at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, Calif.
Details:

Broadband demand continues to increase at an exponential pace and is a pressing topic for the communications technology industry. According to a recent report from IGI Group, “How Much Bandwidth Is Enough in the Access Network?”, the predominant driver for bandwidth in the access network is going to be HD video; that voice and even high-speed data will become almost incidental; and that many of the technologies currently being employed will not be capable of meeting this bandwidth demand.

Technology experts from around the world will converge at OFC/NFOEC to report and discuss how optics will accommodate FTTx and other significant bandwidth drivers.

As the largest and most comprehensive international event for optical communications, this year’s combined OFC/NFOEC will host the entire scope of optical communications, providing exhibits, live demonstrations and educational activities for all audiences.

Highlights:

Broadband Demand-related Educational Programming includes:
